Job Description:

Your Future Duties and Responsibilities:
• The engineer will enhance and modernize AWS based analytics platforms, automate platform operations, troubleshoot complex technical issues, improve engineering standards, and support migration and decommissioning initiatives.
• The role will work closely with Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Security, application teams, vendors, and other technology stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure, and efficient platform capabilities.

Required Qualifications to be Successful in this Role:
• 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, including cloud native platform engineering
• Experience with Amazon SageMaker or enterprise Data Science / ML platforms
• Strong Python and shell scripting skills for automation
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD
• Strong troubleshooting, systems analysis, and root cause analysis skills
• Experience with cloud security, IAM, vulnerability remediation, monitoring, and observability
• Knowledge of resiliency, performance, and cloud cost optimization / FinOps
• Experience developing reusable automation and reducing manual operational processes
• Strong technical documentation, communication, and cross team collaboration skills

Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
