Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Senior Mobile Application Developer to design, build, and deliver high-quality native mobile applications for a healthcare-focused enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will operate autonomously as a senior individual contributor, taking ownership of mobile features from design and implementation through testing, release, and production support.

This role requires native mobile development expertise. The client is transitioning away from React Native and requires engineers with demonstrable experience building and shipping production applications using native iOS and Android technologies.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with the ability to operate independently at a senior individual-contributor level.

• Native iOS development: Strong hands-on experience with Swift and SwiftUI, including demonstrable experience delivering and shipping SwiftUI features in production.

• Native Android development: Strong hands-on experience building native Android applications using Kotlin.

• Production delivery: Proven ability to own mobile features end to end, from technical design and implementation through testing, release, and ongoing maintenance.

• Native development focus: Experience must include actual native iOS and/or Android development. React Native or other cross-platform experience does not substitute for the required native expertise.

• AI-assisted software development: Experience incorporating AI coding tools into the software development lifecycle (SDLC), preferably Claude Code or OpenAI Codex, for coding, code review, debugging, testing, and delivery.

• Autonomous execution: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, make sound technical decisions, and deliver features with minimal supervision.

• Onshore requirement: Must be based in the United States and able to work directly with the client's providers and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing applications in healthcare, clinical, patient-facing, or other regulated environments.

• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure.

• Experience supporting production mobile applications, including troubleshooting, performance optimization, and ongoing enhancements.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product, design, backend engineering, and clinical stakeholders.

Pay: Up to $85.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
